About Us

Dresden has been our “second home” since 1991 and we are enthusiastic about Dresden and its surroundings. Since 2006, we have been renting out two vacation apartments in the Ambiente an der Elbe vacation home in Dresden, which is located directly on the Elbe. The unobstructed view of the Elbe and the old town inspire us again and again and we hope to be able to inspire you for Dresden as well.

Since 2020, we have been renting out another vacation apartment in a lovingly renovated house directly on Theaterplatz in the historic old town of Meissen. Above all, the beautifully renovated Theaterplatz and the view of Meissen Cathedral have prompted us to create a vacation home here for your “journey of discovery through Saxony” and we hope to be able to inspire you for Meissen and the Saxon Elbland with its small but fine wine-growing region.

Holiday home Ambiente on the Elbe:

Arrival information: Arrival: from 4 p.m. or by arrangement. Departure: by 10 a.m.

Departure on Sundays is only possible by arrangement!

You can reach the holiday home Ambiente an der Elbe, 01139 Dresden as follows: from the motorway:

  • BAB 4 exit Dresden-Neustadt
  • approx. 2 km towards the town centre/Pieschen (Lommatscher Straße)
  • Turn right into Leipziger Straße (towards the city centre)
  • After about 250 m after Burger King and before Ballhaus Watzke turn right into Kötzschenbroder Straße
  • After approximately 200 meters, the house is on the right side of the street (Kötzschenbroder Straße 18). Parking is available on the property.

From Dresden main station by public transport:

  • by S-Bahn line 4 or 9 to the Altpieschen stop, on Leipziger Straße near Ballhaus Watzke
  • approx. 200 m to the holiday apartment

Holiday apartment Am Theaterplatz:

Arrival information: Arrival: from 3:00 PM or by arrangement. Departure: by 10:00 AM

Arrival on Sundays is only possible by arrangement!

You can reach the holiday apartment Am Theaterplatz, 01662 Meißen from the motorway as follows:

  • Take the A4 motorway exit at Willsdruff, then drive towards Wilsdruff/Meißen/Tharandt. Continue on the S177 to Meißen.
  • Turn right onto Neumarkt and stay on this road
  • Turn left onto Meisastraße and after 120 m turn left onto Leipziger Straße
  • Stay on Leipziger Straße and after the theater turn sharp right onto Theaterplatz


  • Take the A14 exit at Nossen and drive towards Nossen-Ost/Meißen
  • Turn right onto Eulaer Hauptstraße/B101, then turn right onto Jahnastraße and continue onto Meisastraße
  • After about 350 m turn right onto Leipziger Straße and then continue as described above.

From Dresden main station by public transport:

  • S-Bahn line 1 direction: Meißen Triebischtal to Meißen.
  • Over the Altstadtbrücke and Elbestraße in about 14 minutes walk to Theaterplatz (turn right) and from there to the house
